To Study At School or To Have a Job

It has been argued these days that many children are forced to stay at school and study subjects that will be little value to them in the future. These children may disrupt the education of the majority and should be allowed to leave school early to find themselves a job. Education is the biggest matter that needs to be questioned for societies to asnwer and to be appleıd properly. It is impossible for societies to have totally witted youngs or individuals so, that is very naturel to have some lazy or rebellious students. I think there is no use of forcing these kids to go to school everyday despite their unwillingness. The best thing that can be done might allow those children to have some jobs considering their interest and abilities.And also If we want these children to have a profession we should let them decide what they want instead of pushing them into the way where we want them to go. Besides these, everyone cannot be white collar workers, someone needs to be blue collar workers that the system can run without trouble.

Öğretmenlik nedir gerçekten bilmiyorum.Bize üniversite öğrettikleri şey ile bizim yaptığımız şey arasında bu kadar fark olmamalıydı. Gene sorun, gene sıkıntı yaşadım bugün o iki güzel sınıfımla; 11-C ve 9-C. Öğrenciler gerçekten çok zorluyorlar ve dersi dinlememek için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar ama her şeye rağmen birilerine bir şeyler öğretebildiğimi görebiliyorum bu da bana teselli oluyor. Dün akşam "'Peki' bütün küfürlerin anasıdır." adlı blogda dinlediğim türkü beni ziyadesiyle etkiledi ve şimdi gene onu dinliyorum. Gerçekten ruhumun arındığını hissediyorum nedendir bilmem beni oldukça rahatlattı. Blog sahibi Serapus arkadaşa çok teşekkür ederim. HAA bu arada türkünün adı "Magusa'ya Vardım".

Çocuklara kıyamıyorum ya eşekler bugün gene kopya çekiyorlardı görmediğimi sanıyorlar ama her şey o kadar net gözüküyor ki neyse gene de alıp işlem yapmadım sadece kopya kağıtlarını aldım. Yazı yazmayı gerçekten özlemişim. Derdimi kimseye anlatmak zorunda değilim sessiz kağıtlar yada sayfalar beni usulca dinliyorlar nasıl olsa, bu da bana yeter.

Eşim, Canım hamile olduğu için dayanamıyor uyuyor eve gelir gelmez, zaten ara sıra yemek yapabiliyordu şimdi hiç yapamıyor. Canımıniçi ya. Bende eve akşamları geç saatlere kadar çalıştığım için geç gidiyorum kızcağız beklemekten yoruluyor ve sonunda uyku galip geliyor.

Günler hala böyle gelip geçmeye devam ediyor. Şu aralar aklımda bir araba almak var aşkımla doktora gidip gelirken çok zor oluyor hele bide doğum yapınca iyice zorlanacağız. Zaten çocuk beni fazlasıyla korkutuyor, nasıl olacak bilmiyorum. Rabbim neyler, neylerse güzel eyler demiş atalarımız. Ben Rabb'ime güvenirim, kendimi ona teslim ederim, ondan geleceklere boynumuz kıldan ince. Allah'ım sen bize hayırlısıyla sağlıklı senin yolunda gidecek bir evlat nasip et. Amin.

Şuan yapmayı istediğim şey şu binadan çıkıp gidip Kız Kulesinin karşına geçip saatlerce sessizce sedasızca oturmak deniz olduğu yerde dururken Kız Kulesinin akıp geçtiğini izlemek. Ahhhhh ahhhhhh.

A Weird Weekend

IT HAS BEEN MONTHS SINCE WE DID NOT GET CRAZY OR DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR OUR LIVES EXPECT WORKING AND WORKING AND WORKING. IT CAN BE EASILY MENTIONED THAT I HAVE A GOD DAMN BORING, FUCKING LIFE SINCE I GOT HANDCUFFED. OF COURSE THIS DOES NOT STEM FROM YASEMIN IN CONTRAST THE REAL FACT IS THE DEBT THAT WE INHERITED FROM BANKS BY TRYING TO PAY OUR COSTS FOR BEING A MARRIED COUPLE. I CANNOT STAND LIVING UNDER THE PRESSURE OF DEBT THAT I HAVE TO LIVE A RUSH LIFE SO AS TO GET RID OF IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, ACTUALLY THIS IS AN IRREFUTABLE FACT THAT I SHOULD HAVE MARRIED AFTER SAVING SOME MONEY BUT I COULD NOT BECAUSE OF VARIOUS REASONS, MAINLY BECAUSE OF COMPULSORY MILITARY SERVICE DURING 6 MONTHS. ANYWAY MY INTENTION WAS DIFFERENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS WHEN I START WRITING THIS, LAST WEEK WE DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS TOO DIFFICULT TO PERSUADE YASEMIN TO GO TO GONUL`S WEDDING CEREMONY IN GAZIOSMANPASA YESILPINAR. I HAD SOME CLASSES AT AMERICAN CULTURE BEFORE WEDDING THEREFORE I LEFT THE HOUSE BEFORE YASEMIN AND I KINDLY REQUESTED HER TO BE THE VERY MOST BEAUTIFUL LIKE THOSE OLD DAYS AT UNIVERSITY. I NOTICED THAT I REALLY MISS HAVING SOME ACTIVITIES AND SOME FUN WITH OTHERS. I REALLY LIKE PLAYING FOLK DANCE ( IF I CAN GET SOME PICTURES, I WANNA POST SOME OF THEM). SHE WORN A NICE BLACK DRESS AND THEN WE WENT TO CEREMONY. GONUL WAS VERY HAPPY AND HAD SUCH BRILLIANT EYES THAT DESERVED TO BE SEEN. AS A MATTER OF FACT WE WERE GOING TO SHOP AFTER THE WEDDING BUT THE TIME WAS LATE FOR DOING SOME SHOPPING SO WE HEADED BACK TO HOME. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SHUTTLE WHICH CARRIED US TO HOME, WE WERE LIKE CRAZY MONKEYS. IF MY STUDENTS HAD SEEN US, THEY WOULD OT PROBABLY BEHAVE US AS THEIR TEACHERS NOW. THIS WAS OUR SATURDAY. OUR SUNDAY PLAN WAS A LITTLE BOT DIFFERENT WE PLANNED TO GO BREAKFAST TO CAMLICA WITH  MY STUDENTS BUT ALL GIRLS DECIDED NOT TO COME, THEY LOST. A FEW STUDENTS CAME AND WE DID OUR BREAKFAST AND THEN TAKE A SMALL WALK AROUND CAMLICA WITH STUDENTS. ONURHAN WAS SO FUNNY THAT HE WAS COLD SO MUCH :-). AFTER THE BREAKFAST YASEMIN CHANGED HER MIND AND WANTED TO GO SHOPPING THAT WE COULD NOT DO A DAY BEFORE. WE WENT TO CAPITOL AND WE HAD JUST ABOUT ONE HOUR TO DO IT BUT AS ALWAYS YASEMIN MANAGED TO MAKE ME LATE FOR WORK BY COMING OUT LATE. TO BE ABLE TO BE PUNCTUAL FOR WORK, WE HAD TO TAKE A TAXI FROM CAPITOL TO TASDELEN, IT COSTED ABOUT 40 TL, BY THE WAY I WAS TO FORGET THAT I BOUGHT A JERSEY TO MAHMUT A BARCELONA JERSEY AS NEW YEAR PRESENT.

I AM AT WORK NOW AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 HOURS  FOR MY STUDENT WHOM I THINK SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE TILL 3PM BUT SHE IS THE GUY WHO WAS NOT ABLE TO BE REACHED BY PHONE AND I AM THE GUY WHO HAS JUST BEEN INFORMED ABOUT THAT AFTER WAITING 3 HOURS. I CANNOT BEAR THESE CANCELS ANYMORE BECAUSE I BOTH LOSE MONEY AND MY PRICELESS TIME. I NEITHER GO HOME NOR STUDY ANYTHING. I AM JUST WAITING WAITING WAITING AND WAITING. I DO NOT WANNA WORK LIKE THAT, I NEED A DIFFERENT JOB WHICH PROVIDES MONEY AND PEACE, I DESIRE A DIFFERENT JOB THAT IS PERMANENT AND SAFE, I NEED A DIFFERENT JOB I DO NOT WANT TO WORRY ABOUT ITS EXISTANCE. I HATE CANCELLED CLASSES AND HOURS, I HATE WHIMSEY PREGNANT WOMEN.WISH ME SOME GOOD LUCK PLS.



HOW DO WE TEACH OR LEARN?

Teaching or in other word education is one of the most important key of a nation or the whole world as we can exist and develop the life on earth via it so it can be infered that life would be so hard without education. Considering these brief information, we can easily claim that a life without education cannot be thought or even dreamed.

For reaching our aims in education, we have to have some good teaching techniques for educating the people who are candidates to dedicate themselves for the future generation. Unlike the most common belief, being a teacher is not so easy. On the contrary, i think it is one of the most difficult profession on earth and it needs to be dealt with carefully. Of course we should be expert and give importance to that job so we are to be ready for doing this crucial task. We can talk about so many teaching methods here such as generative grammer method that gives grammer more than daily usage and information or we can mention about silent way method or any others. I think it will be useless thing to talk or discuss about what is going to be used while teaching because as an experinced english learner and a teacher i am sure about that education should be in the way that the students want.

According to my experiences, using an exact method is one of the key point of failure. Here is the explanation. We can make a resemblence between plants and students if the students are plants so we are the farmers and we should water them regularly and give the necessary items to the plants to provide them enough time and power to grow. All students are different kinds of plant, they have different personalities so we should have different medicine to get make them better when they need us, age is not so important and this subject is out of the word here, students can be at their six or sixty, the aim is to teach them perfectly. To me the best technique in teaching is knowing the student and the ability to provide the necessary knowledge them because if you do this both sides takes pleasure from what they want and they have desire to teach and to be taught. A smiling face is the secret for opening the locked doors to the teacher. İf we need to give an example, this is great; think about a student who is intellegent but lazy. How can we take his attention ? First we should be aware of why he is here and what he wants and then we should know what kind of subjects he likes so we can prepare a proper plan for him for example we present the subject hoe he likes, i must note that if we have a large class we should of course apply this by giving importance to majority`s attention.

In short i believe in that success is inevitable for the determined student and motivated teacher.

today was a very tiring day for me

Today was a very tiring day for me. Because I went to bed at 5.00 am and I woke up at 11 am. I was not off today so I went to work after 3 o'clock. I had so many stuffs to do!  First i  read the exam that my starter group had then prepared another exam for my other group. It was ok till that time. After that I had to deal wıth so many thıngs on the net. It took at least 5 hours to finish everything. Despıte all attempts I did, I could not complete my registiration then i went to my class for english teaching. All the students were at their seats but one. Iftar was comıng closer and I was reluctant to have a class at Iftar hour. Today our topıcs were "have to, has to, can, cannot, must" and building complex sentences using these. They were almost successful to do it  but they need to practice it; they have to. there are so many important exams like toefl, toeıc and the list goes on with kpds. Kpds is the easiest one. Be sure!!!!!!!!!! I am so tired I need to eat something. Next time i wanna write somethıng on a book about KAFKA.
